Configuration fields
This document provides guidance on configuring the Nuvei payment gateway in Zuora, including setting up basic information, credentials, rules, and testing environments.
Configuration fields
Use the following fields when you configure the Nuvei payment gateway in Zuora.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A unique, descriptive name for this gateway instance in Zuora. |
| Use Gateway Test Environment | Determines whether Zuora sends transactions to the Nuvei test environment or the Nuvei live environment. |
| Merchant Secret Key | The Merchant Secret Key that you obtain from Nuvei. |
| Merchant ID | The Merchant ID that you obtain from Nuvei. |
| Merchant Site ID | The Merchant Site ID that you obtain from Nuvei. |
| Tokenize payment method | When you enable this field, Zuora tokenizes existing credit card payment methods during a payment transaction and tokenizes new payment methods during creation. Enable this field to support stored-credential (CIT/MIT) and recurring payments. |
| Active | When you select this field, Zuora makes the gateway available for transaction processing. |
| Default | When you select this field, Zuora uses this gateway as the default gateway for your tenant. |
Rules
Use the following rules to control payment method validation and authorization behavior.
| Rule | Description |
|---|---|
| Default Authorization Amount | The amount that Zuora uses when it performs an authorization while creating or updating a card. |
| Verify new payment method | Validates a payment method when you create or update it. For the Nuvei gateway integration, create tokenized payment methods as CreditCard payment methods and pass the Nuvei token values in the tokens object. Do not use CreditCardReferenceTransaction, because the Nuvei gateway integration does not support credit card reference transaction payment methods. If Nuvei has already validated the token and you only want to store the payment method in Zuora, set skipValidation to true in the API request. |
| Verify updated payment method | Triggers a credit card authorization when you update an existing card. |
