Manage HTML templates

Debug HTML Templates

Learn how to debug HTML templates by inspecting errors and observing PDF rendering.

Use the Debug option to inspect errors or issues within the template and observe how it renders into a PDF.

To debug issues:

  1. Navigate to Zuora Billing > Settings > Billing > Manage Billing Document Configuration > Add New HTML Template.
  2. Select an existing template or choose a blank template.
  3. Modify the template as required.
  4. Click Preview .
  5. Search for and select the required account.
  6. Select the invoice number. This is generated based on the selected account number.
  7. Click Debug .

The HTML file is downloaded to your system.
