Country-specific configurations in Avalara for Austria

Configure e-invoicing in Avalara for Austria

Learn how to configure Avalara E-Invoicing and Live Reporting for Austria, including API credentials, product activation, and required identifiers.

Ensure that you set up your Avalara E-Invoicing and Live Reporting account.

  1. Generate an API key and secret for your Avalara tenant.
  2. Activate the Avalara E-Invoicing and Live Reporting product for Austria as part of your Avalara onboarding or company activation flow.
  3. Configure your Austria VAT number or GLN number in Avalara.
    Note: This identifier is required for the Austria setup.
  4. Select the PEPPOL mandate for Austria in Avalara.
