Front-Load Stub Period for ramp quotes
Front-Load Stub Period allows you to place a shorter partial period at the beginning of a ramp schedule in Quote Studio, so the first interval covers the partial term and the remaining intervals follow the selected standard ramp frequency.
Use Front-Load Stub Period in Quote Studio when a customer contract or billing arrangement requires the first interval to cover a partial term, followed by full quarterly, semiannual, or annual periods. The remaining ramp intervals continue to follow the selected standard ramp frequency
Front-Load Stud Period is available in Quote Studio for eligible ramp quotes after it is activated in Feature Access Config. Your administrator can control access by Salesforce profile and quote type.
Front-Load Stub Period supports the following quote types:
New subscription quotes
Amendment quotes
Renewal quotes
The Front-Load Stub Period feature is available from Quotes version 10.60.
Other considerations
Front-Load Stub Period applies only to eligible ramp quotes.
Custom ramp frequency is not supported.
Existing quotes retain their saved behavior until you update them.
