To minimize the adoption friction, Zuora offers you an option to switch to the Quote Studio page to edit products from the existing page of Zuora Quotes.

1. Enter the Opportunity Detail page of an opportunity, the Account Detail page of an account, or the Quotes tab.
2. Click the New Quote button. The Select Billing Account and Quote Type page opens.
3. Select the billing account and quote type.
   1. If you create from the Quotes tab, click , find the account that is associated with the subscription you want to amend, and click the account name. The key information of the billing account is then automatically populated under the Billing Account list.
   2. In the Quote Type list:

      • Select Amend an existing subscription to create an amendment quote.

      • Select Renew an existing subscription to create a renewal quote.

   3. Select the subscription that you want to amend or renew from the table under the Quote Type list.
   4. Click Next .
4. Configure the Provide Quote, Account and Subscription Term Details page.
   1. In the Quote Details section, specify the Quote Name , Amendment Name , and Valid Until fields, and other optional fields as needed.
   2. If you want to create an amendment quote, in the Subscription Terms and Conditions section, specify the Start Date , Initial Term , and Renewal Term fields, and other optional fields as needed.
   3. If you want to create a renewal quote, in the Subscription Terms and Conditions section, specify the Renewal Setting and Renewal Term fields, and other optional fields as needed. For amendment and renewal, you can enable the Invoice Separately field to create independent invoices per subscription. The value is sent to Zuora Billing within the Terms and Conditions order action.
   4. Click Next.
5. Add products and rate plans on the Edit Product and Charges page:
   1. Click the Select button.
   2. Click Add Base Products and optionally select the products and rate plans you want to add to the quote.
   3. Click Next and optionally select the add-on products and rate plans you want to add to the quote.
   4. Click Next . Then you can review the selected products and make updates to products as needed.
6. Click the Check Out CPQ X button to switch to the Quote Studio page. Note that all configuration in the previous steps is automatically synced to the Quote Studio page.
7. On the Quote Studio page, review the quote information, edit products and charges, and submit the configuration upon completion. For instructions, see Configure quote information on Quote Studio page.
   Note: You can also click the Back button on the Quote Studio page to switch back to the existing Edit Products and Charges page of Zuora Quotes.
