Support for Real-Time Reconciliation in Adyen Payment Gateway Integration

Adyen v2.0 supports the Real-Time Reconciliation feature. With this feature enabled, the payment gateway can submit notifications to Zuora for various event types on gateway objects, and the corresponding records can be automatically updated in real-time. Keep the following in mind when using Real-Time Reconciliation:

Do not enable both Batch Gateway Reconciliation and Real-Time Reconciliation on the same Adyen v2.0 gateway instance, as Zuora can attempt to reconcile the same transaction multiple times. It can result in settlement date conflicts, non-actionable reconciliation errors for already-settled transactions, and duplicate or conflicting refund reconciliation attempts for partial refunds.

For Adyen v2.0, Zuora recommends using Real-Time Reconciliation (RTR) instead of Batch Gateway Reconciliation. If you currently use Batch Gateway Reconciliation and plan to migrate to Real-Time Reconciliation in the following order:
- Enable and validate Real-Time Reconciliation.
- Confirm that reconciliation updates are processing as expected.
- Disable legacy batch Gateway Reconciliation for the Adyen gateway instance.
