Set up and configure Checkout.com gateway instance

Learn how to set up and configure a Checkout.com gateway instance, including enabling the integration, configuring settings, and resolving potential issues.

  • Enable the Checkout.com payment gateway integration for your tenant. See Enable payment gateway integrations for your tenant for instructions.

  • Enable the Bank Transfer – SEPA payment method type on your tenant and configure it in EUR for customers in the EU/UK region.
  • If you plan to process SEPA Direct Debit through Checkout.com, ensure that Checkout.com reconciliation is configured so that SEPA settlements, returns, refunds, and refund declines are reported back to Zuora.

Set up and configure a Checkout.com gateway instance by using the information in this article, including the configuration procedure, descriptions of the configuration fields and references for testing the payment gateway.

After the Checkout.com gateway integration is enabled in your tenant, take the following steps to set up and configure a Checkout.com gateway instance:

  1. Click your username at the top right, and navigate to Settings > Payments > Set Up Payment Gateway.
  2. On the Configure Gateway Instance tab, select checkout.com from the Gateway Type dropdown list.
  3. Click Create Gateway.
  4. Complete the information for the gateway instance. For more detailed information, see Common configuration fields.
    Note:

All the configuration fields do not support the vertical line character "|". For password fields, if your gateway assigns a password containing this character, Zuora will display a validation error. To resolve this issue, contact your gateway provider to request a new password without the unsupported character.

  5. Click Save Gateway Information.
