Level 2 and Level 3 data processing on Checkout.com
Learn how to integrate Checkout.com to process Level 2 and Level 3 card data for Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, and configure necessary settings for optimal data submission.
The Checkout.com payment gateway integration provides you the flexibility to submit Level 2 and Level 3 card data to the gateway for the following card brands in the U.S.:

American Express (only Level 2)

Work with Checkout.com to correctly set up Level 2 and Level 3 requests in your Checkout.com merchant account.

In Zuora, configure the following custom fields on the
Product Rate Plan Chargeobject: The API names (without "__c") of these custom fields are required to enable Level 2 and Level 3 data processing when configuring a payment gateway instance. For more information about custom fields, see Custom object definitions.-

Enable Level 2 and Level 3 data submission
To enable the support for sending Level 2 card data, Level 3 card data, or both to the gateway, configure the following settings on the configuration page of the Checkout.com gateway instance:

Enable L2 : To enable Level 2 card data processing, select this checkbox.

Enable L3 : To enable Level 3 card data processing, select both Enable L3 and Enable L2 .

ProductCode Custom Field API Name : To send the
ProductCodefield to the gateway, enter the API name of theProductCodecustom field without the__csuffix. This field is required to qualify your merchant account for Level 3 interchange rates. If this field is not specified, the Level 3 data will not be sent to the gateway. -
CommodityCode Custom Field API Name : To send the
CommodityCodefield to the gateway, enter the API name of theCommodityCodecustom field without the__csuffix. This field is required to qualify your merchant account for Level 3 interchange rates. If this field is not specified, the Level 3 data will not be sent to the gateway.
