Migrate to Zuora Payment Forms
Who this applies to
This path applies to customers who:
- Want a hosted, out‑of‑the‑box payment form that supports PayPal and other local/global payment methods.
- Prefer Zuora to manage the full form experience (rendering, UX, security controls, and compatibility) instead of embedding PayPal components directly.
With this path:
- Zuora renders and manages the entire Payment Form experience.
- You configure which payment method types (cards, PayPal, wallets, bank transfers) appear on the form.
- Zuora orchestrates tokenization and payment processing behind the scenes, including support for PayPal Complete Payments.
Key behaviors
- Payment Forms create and store vault tokens for supported PayPal payment methods.
- Payments created through Payment Forms originate in Zuora and are logged as Electronic payments.
- Reconciliation and reporting are unified in Zuora, regardless of the gateway.
Benefits
- Minimal integration effort; you can treat Payment Forms as a drop‑in component.
Fewer moving parts and fewer integration surfaces to maintain, which reduces failure risk.
- Automatic access to:
- New payment methods added to Payment Forms.
- Roadmap features such as App Switch and the Recurring Payments Module, where applicable.
- Compliance, security measures, and UX updates are managed by Zuora.
This path is recommended when you want the lowest ongoing maintenance, and when you want to consolidate multiple payment methods into a single hosted checkout experience.
