Windcave Payment Gateway Integration

Overview of Windcave payment gateway integration

Zuora integrates with Windcave to process Credit Card transactions, supporting various card brands and currencies, with features like 3D Secure 2.0 and Delayed Capture.

Note:

This payment gateway integration can be requested through the Specialized Payment Connections service at an additional cost.

Zuora integrates with Windcave payment services, supporting a gateway integration known as Windcave for processing Credit Card transactions.

Supported payment methods

The Windcave payment gateway integration supports Credit Card payment methods, including the following card brands:

  • American Express

  • Diners Club

  • Discover

  • JCB

  • Mastercard

  • Visa

The following currencies are supported:

  • AUD

  • CAD

  • EUR

  • NZD

  • SGD

  • USD

Support for 3D Secure 2.0

3D Secure 2.0 (3DS2) is a solution for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) under PSD2 to reduce fraud and increase authorization approvals. The Windcave gateway integration provides support for 3DS2 through the embedded iframe of Payment Pages 2.0. With 3DS2 enabled and implemented, end users may receive a challenge window presented by issuing banks who are seeking confirmation that the end user is the card owner. The callback page is displayed only when they are authenticated.

Support for Delayed Capture

The Delayed Capture feature allows you to authorize the availability of funds for a transaction but delay the capture of funds until a later time. The Windcave payment gateway integration supports Delayed Capture for Credit Card payment methods, which involves the use of the following API operations:

  • Create authorization

  • Create a payment to capture the payment or Cancel authorization

Zuora also supports capturing authorizations that were generated externally by using Zuora's Create authorization API operation.

  • Set up and configure a Windcave payment gateway instance

  • Create payment methods on Windcave

  • Field mappings for credit card transactions through Windcave
