Retaining Mandates
This document provides guidance on the retention of mandates, including the automatic cancellation of mandates and storing mandate information in Zuora.
This is the previous GlobalCollect (WebCollect Merchant Link) payment gateway integration. Worldline has ceased support for this platform and new instances of this gateway are not supported in Zuora. Please use Worldline Global Collect instead.
Automatic Cancellation of Mandates
If a merchant (you) has not debited the customer's account for 13 months or longer, the mandate may be automatically canceled by the customer's bank and become invalid. Zuora and Worldline Global Collect Legacy will always assume the merchant is in possession of a mandate that is current, per the requirements of the applicable country for which the direct debit account is located.

You can store the mandate information in Zuora. The following is an example of a direct debit payment method stored in Zuora:
