CyberSource Payment Method Updater testing
CyberSource Payment Method Updater (PMU) testing lets you verify that Zuora submits payment method updates to CyberSource correctly before you rely on the integration in production.
The sandbox environment supports only the process of submitting batches. The sandbox environment does not support retrieving the submitted batches.
If a CyberSource merchant account is used in multiple tenants, Zuora returns a Duplicate Batch ID error in the later tenants. To avoid this error, do one of the following:
- Use a different merchant account for each Zuora tenant.
- Contact Zuora Global Support to temporarily connect your sandbox environment to the CyberSource test environment.
The Zuora production environment supports the full CyberSource Account Updater functionality. Although Zuora has tested the integration, Zuora recommends that you select a few actual payment methods and submit them to CyberSource to confirm that the Zuora PMU works as expected. For example, you can change the billing cycle day on the selected billing accounts and verify that the updater applies the change.
