Payment Method Updater Troubleshooting

Find Payment Methods with Invalid Credit Card Information

Learn how to identify payment methods with invalid credit card information using specific status and update type filters.

After the Payment Method Updater batch process completes successfully, Zuora stores the update results for all payment methods in two fields: Status and Update Type. Payment methods that contain invalid card information have a Status of Warning and an Update Type of NotApprovedForSubmitted.

To find payment methods with invalid credit cards, complete the following steps:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Reporting > Data Sources.
  2. In the Data Source list, select Payment Method Update.
  3. Select All Payment Method Updater Fields and All Payment Method Fields.
  4. In the Filters section, set the following filters:
    • Status = Warning
    • Update Type = NotApprovedForSubmitted
  5. In the Time Frame section, select Filter By Created Date, and then set Date Range to Current Month.
  6. Click Export.

Zuora generates a CSV file that contains the payment methods with invalid credit card information. Download the file to review the results.
