Invoice Settlement Harmonization UI
This document outlines the UI differences and features when Invoice Settlement Harmonization is enabled, including comparisons with Invoice Adjustments and Invoice Settlement.
Billing Menu
If Invoice Settlement Harmonization is enabled, the following section outlines the differences in UI between the Invoice Adjustments, Invoice Settlement harmonization, and Invoice Settlement features.
When Invoice Settlement Harmonization is enabled and the Invoice Adjustment is still in use, you can see both the Invoice Adjustments and Invoice Settlement features in the UI.

Billing Settings
When you create a payment by the Invoice Settlement operation and attempt to use the legacy payment UI to refund the payment, it results in an error:
The payment is created under Invoice Settlement, it could not be operated by non Invoice Settlement action.
The Advanced Payment option allows you to refund payments created by the Invoice Settlement operations.
For an ISH tenant, the Advanced Payments menu is displayed under Billing Service in the left navigation menu. The Advanced Payment menu enables you to process payment/refund that is created or operated in Invoice Settlement operation rather than legacy settlement operation.
Under the Billing Settings, you can see a difference in the available settings. The settings can differ based on the type of IIA/ISH/IS environment you belong to. Also, settings like Manage Billing Document Configuration , Manage Custom Fields will have changes.

Customer Accounts
Under customer accounts, when you view the details of a customer account, the display information for Key Metrics of Account Details , Billing Payment Info of Account Details , and Transactions of Account Details will have varied information based on the environment you belong to.
