Use an authentication provider for external SMTP
Configure Workflow external SMTP to use an existing OAuth authentication provider.
Before you configure external SMTP to use OAuth, make sure that you have already created an OAuth authentication provider in Workflow. For instructions, see Add an authentication provider for Workflow.
When you configure external SMTP settings in Workflow and select OAuth as the SMTP mechanism, you can reuse a stored OAuth credential instead of entering credentials directly in the SMTP configuration.
To use an authentication provider for Workflow external SMTP:
- On the Workflow landing page, click the Settings tab.
- Click Login & SMTP Credentials.
- Add or edit the SMTP settings in the External SMTP section.
- Select OAuth as the SMTP mechanism.
- Select an available OAuth credential from the list of configured credentials or authentication providers.
- Complete any other required SMTP settings and save your changes.
