Configure the settings of a workflow definition

Learn how to configure the settings of a specific workflow version.

You can configure workflow version-specific settings. Available settings include cleanup policy, execution priority, security, runtime settings, triggers, notifications, and input parameters. If API callout is selected as a trigger, the API endpoint and token are also displayed in the Settings tab.

The settings of a workflow is displayed on the Settings tab of a workflow instance. It is only applicable to the workflow instance.

  1. On the Workflow landing page, click the Workflow tab.
  2. Click the Add Add iconicon, and create a blank workflow definition or a workflow from a template to enter the settings page.

  3. Configure the displayed settings as appropriate. See "Workflow-specific settings" for general-purpose settings.
    Note: The displayed settings vary depending on the workflow definition.
  4. After you have configured all intended settings, click Update to save your configuration.
