Configure a Revenue task
Configure a Revenue task by selecting it from the library, entering a descriptive name, supplying required identifiers and values, configuring optional fields, mapping outputs to downstream logic, choosing concurrency behavior, and testing with representative data.
Use the following sequence for each Revenue task:
- Select the task from the Revenue task library.
- Enter a descriptive task name, such as
Apply hold to high-risk contracts. - Provide the required Revenue identifiers and business values. Use values from the workflow trigger or upstream task when possible.
- Configure optional fields, such as comments, book, hold name, release percentage, or filter criteria, when the task exposes them.
- Review the task output and map the result to downstream conditions, notifications, or follow-up tasks.
- Choose the appropriate concurrency behavior for the use case. Use sequential processing when record order or downstream dependencies matter; use parallel processing only when the operation is safe to run concurrently.
- Save and test the workflow with representative Revenue data.
