The field mapping interface displays available fields in a dropdown list, including fields from parent and related objects, with data types indicated.

The available fields for each object are displayed in a dropdown list.

At the top level, the dropdown shows all fields available on the current object. As users scroll through the list, fields from parent objects and related objects become available. These fields are identified using dot notation, which indicates the source object of the field. The data type of each field is also displayed in parentheses next to the field name.

Default Values in Field Mapping

Default values ensure that data is sent to the target system when the source field is empty.

To configure a default value, enter a value in the string input field next to the source field. If the source field value is null, the configured default value is sent to the target field.
