Add a root org unit
Learn how to add the root organization unit by specifying hierarchy details, invoice display information, and reporting currency settings.
The root org unit is the top-level organization in your Multi-Org hierarchy. You define its name, invoice display information, and reporting currency to support dynamic invoice generation and tenant-level reporting.
- In the Edit Organization Information dialog, navigate to the Hierarchy section.
- Enter a Name for your organization's hierarchy.Review the Reporting currency field.
- In the Invoice Display Details field, enter the invoicing information for the org unit. You can include details such as the org unit's location, billing address, banking information (routing number), taxation ID, or any other information that supports dynamic invoice generation.Note: The reporting currency is a tenant-level setting defined when your account is created. This field is read-only.
- In the Description field, enter customized marketing messages or any other information to support dynamic invoice generation for the org unit.
