Account level prepaid consumption dashboard
The Account Level Prepaid Consumption Dashboard helps you monitor prepaid balances and historical consumption for Enhanced Unit-Based Prepaid with Drawdown.
This dashboard applies only to Enhanced Unit-Based Prepaid with Drawdown when the feature is enabled for your tenant. To enable these enhancements, submit a request through Zuora Global Support.
Open the dashboard
- Navigate to Customer Accounts.
- Open the customer account.
- Review the prepaid balance summary on the Account Details page.
- The summary shows the prepaid balance as of today and the overage units as of today for each prepayment UOM.
- Click View Details to open the Account Level Prepaid Consumption Dashboard.
The dashboard opens at the account level and displays prepaid data by UOM.
What the dashboard shows
The dashboard gives you a quick view of prepaid funds across different UOMs and helps you understand:
- how much prepaid balance is still available
- what period the displayed funds cover
- which prepayment charges contribute to the balance
- how usage is split between prepaid consumption and overage
- how much balance is approaching expiration
In the collapsed card view, each UOM appears in its own card.
Header filters
Use the following filters to narrow the displayed funds:
Anchor Date
Sets the point in time used to filter the funds shown on the card. Funds with a validity period ending before this date are excluded. The default value is today.
Status
Choose whether to include or exclude funds by status:
- Active: the fund balance is greater than 0
- Pending: the fund start date is after today
- Depleted: the fund balance is 0
Subscription
Use the subscription filter to display funds from selected subscriptions only.
Scope
Use the scope filter to display funds based on drawdown scope:
- Account
- Subscription
Summary metrics
The summary section shows the following information for the filtered funds:
- Date Range: the start and end dates covered by the displayed funds
- Remaining Balance: the units still available
- Total: the total prepaid units from the displayed funds
- % of Consumption: the percentage of the displayed balance that has already been consumed
- Expiring in 7 days: the units that will expire soon
Usage summary
The usage summary shows the total drawdown units and overage units during the displayed date range. The numbers are aggregated eligible usage consumption transactions from all subscriptions under the account; they are not affected by the anchor date, fund status, subscriptions selections above.
Details view
Click View Details within a UOM card to expand the detailed view.
The detailed view includes:
- a timeline chart that shows prepayment charges and their funds
- a detail table that lists each prepayment charge and its individual funds
Usage details
Click View Usage to open the usage detail section.
The usage detail section shows aggregated usage consumption transactions from all subscriptions under the account, as long as the usage is eligible to draw down from the selected prepaid UOM funds.
You can:
- choose a different time period
- aggregate transactions by day, week, or month
- switch between units and currency views
The dashboard groups usage into two categories:
- Drawdown: usage covered by prepaid balance
- Overage: usage billed or to be billed outside prepaid balance
The usage detail section is not filterable by the anchor date, fund status, or subscription filters used in the summary section.
