Salesforce Release Impacts

Considerations for Salesforce winter 27 release

This topic describes how the Salesforce Winter '27 release affects Zuora Quotes new-tab and popup behavior.

Zuora Quotes supports a Salesforce-compatible method for opening links, dialogs, and generated content in new tabs or windows. This functionality is designed to support Salesforce Winter '27 and later platform changes affecting how window.open() is handled, while maintaining compatibility with earlier Salesforce releases.

Salesforce Winter '27 changes how some links open URLs in new tabs or popup windows. Depending on the Zuora Quotes package version and the action being used, this change may affect legacy actions such as:

  • Lookup and browse popups

  • Product or feature-selection windows

  • Component registration exports

  • Generate Word or PDF actions

Note: If a Quotes action does not open the expected tab or popup window after upgrading Salesforce, contact Zuora Support.
