Learn how to assign page layouts to user profiles by navigating through the setup, selecting objects, and editing assignments.

1. Navigate to Setup > Create > Objects.
2. Click the object.
3. In the Page Layouts section, click Page Layout Assignment.
4. Click Edit Assignment.
5. For the Quote object, click the record type column heading. For example, Master, Amendment.
6. For the other objects, click the Page Layout column header.
7. With the profile and the record type highlighted (only for Quotes), click the Page Layout To Use field, and select the page layout of each record type as provided in the table in this article.
8. Click Save.
