Map profiles to Zuora Org

Learn how to map Salesforce users and profiles to a Zuora Org by adding the Org Access Mappings tab and configuring access for the required organization.

As a Salesforce administrator, you can restrict user access to specific Zuora orgs by using the Org Access Mappings tab. You must manually add the Org Access Mappings tab to the Zuora Quotes Lightning app before using it for the first time.

  1. Open Zuora Quotes Lightning.
  2. To add the Org Access Mappings tab, perform the following steps:
    1. Click editicon on the top right corner.
    2. Click Add More Items button.
    3. Click All and search for Org Access Mappings.
    4. Select Org Access Mappings and click Add 1 Nav Item button.
Adding the Org Access Mappings tab is a one-time activity.
  3. Navigate to the Org Access Mappings tab and click New.
  4. In the Organization field, enter and select the organization name.
You can select only one organization. To control access, you must create an org access mapping for each organization.
  5. To grant access to all profiles, select All Profiles.

To select the required standard or custom profiles, perform the following steps after the record is saved.

    1. Open the org access mapping record.
    2. In the Profile Selection section, do one of the following:
      • Select All Profiles.

      • Select the required standard or custom profiles from the Available Profiles list.

    3. Save your changes.

For versions earlier than 10.60, you can select only standard profiles from the Available list in the Profile Name section and click the icon. Alternatively, to choose all the profiles, you can select All Profiles.

  6. In the User Detail field, enter user information and select the users.
  7. Save the record.
    Note:
    • When both All Profiles and specific profiles are selected, the system saves only the specific profiles.

    • When you select a profile and also add a user in the User Detail field, all users assigned to that profile, as well as the individually added user, will have access to the selected org.

    • You can also restrict Salesforce users' access to certain orgs configured in the Zuora tenant based on the Account or Opportunity record field using the Multi Org Plugin. See Use Multi Org Plugin.
