Sync status values

Use the Opportunity Product Sync Status field on a quote to understand the current state and outcome of the sync process between Salesforce and Zuora Billing.

The following values appear on the Opportunity Product Sync Status field on Quote:

StatusMeaning
Not StartedSync has never been run for this quote.
QueuedSync is queued and will run shortly.
Sync PendingSync is currently running.
CompletedThe last sync completed successfully.
FailedThe last sync failed. Review Opportunity Product Sync Error on the quote to identify the root cause.
Waiting for Charge SegmentsCharge Segments do not yet exist. Run Order Preview on the quote, verify Charge Segments exist, then retry sync.
Blocked – Sent to BillingThe quote has been sent to Zuora Billing. This is expected behavior. Sync is blocked after billing submission to prevent data divergence.
Note:
  • If sync fails with a field-level security or permission error, the user likely lacks Create/Edit or FLS on Opportunity Products or mapped fields. Grant the required object and field-level access via Profile or Permission Set.

  • If duplicate sync runs appear to occur, the system automatically deduplicates requests. This behavior is expected and safe.
