Map profiles to Zuora Org

Learn how to map profiles to a Zuora Org by adding the Org Access Mappings tab and configuring user access.

As a Salesforce Administrator, you can restrict user access to specific Zuora orgs using the Org Access Mappings tab. You must manually add this tab to the permission set before using it for the first time.

  1. Open Zuora Quotes.
  2. To add the Org Access Mappings tab, perform the following steps:
    1. In your Salesforce org, click Setup and select Setup. The Setup homepage opens.
    2. Create permission set group for Zuora Quotes End User permission set. See Create permission set group and muting permission set.
    3. From the Apps section, click Object Settings.
    4. Open the Org Access Mappings object and edit the settings.
    5. From Tab Settings, select Available and Visible.
    6. Click Save.

Adding the Org Access Mappings tab is a one-time activity.

  3. Navigate to the Org Access Mappings tab and click the New button.
  4. In the Org Detail field, enter the org name and select the org.
  5. Select the profiles from the Available list in the Profile Name section and click the icon. Alternatively, to choose all the profiles, select All Profiles.
  6. Enter user information in the User Detail field, and select the users.
  7. Click Save.
    Note:
    • When both All Profiles and specific profiles are selected, the system saves only the specific profiles.

    • When you select a profile and also add a user in the User Detail field, all users assigned to that profile, as well as the individually added user, will have access to the selected org.

    • You can also restrict Salesforce users' access to certain orgs configured in the Zuora tenant based on the Account or Opportunity record field using the Multi Org Plugin. See Use Multi Org Plugin.
