Create new payment method

Learn how to create a new payment method in Zuora by adding payment information and submitting it on the Payment Page.

  1. On the Quote Detail page, select New Payment Method.
  2. On the Create Payment Page, Enter the payment details:
    1. In the ABA/Routing Number and Bank Account Number enter the payment method details.
    2. In the Account Type, Bank Name, and Account Holder Name enter the bank account details.
    3. In the ACH billing address, enter the City, State/Province, Country, Postal Code, Address 1, and Address 2.
    4. Click Submit.
  3. On the Quote Detail page, send the quote to Zuora Billing.
    Note:

    For accounts the ID of the newly created electronic payment method is written back to the Electronic Payment Method Id field on the Quote object. If the quote is for a new billing account, the value of the Electronic Payment Method Id field populates the DefaultPaymentMethodId of the newly created account in Zuora. If the quote is linked to an existing account in Zuora, the account's DefaultPaymentMethodId is updated after the payment method is created.

    For subscriptions Zuora CPQ automatically applies the newly created payment method to the subscription and maps in Zuora Billing.
