Real Time Account Updater for Adyen

Create RSA keys for Adyen Real-Time Account Updater

Create and manage RSA keys in Zuora for Adyen Real-Time Account Updater, including adding new keys and importing existing ones.

  • Administrator access to Zuora Payments and the Credential Management UI
  • Access to the Adyen Customer Area for your merchant accounts

Adyen Real-Time Account Updater (RTAU) uses RSA encryption when returning updated card details. Each tenant can create and manage their own RSA keys in Zuora, associate them with Adyen gateway instances, and reuse the same key across environments if needed.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Payments > Credential Management.
  2. In the Credential Management page open the RSA Key Management tab.
  3. From the Payment Gateway drop-down list, select Adyen.
  4. Add or import an RSA key.
    1. To add a new RSA key, click Add A New Key. The create Create RTAU Key page appears. Enter a Key Name and click Create Key.
    2. To import an existing RSA key, click Import An Existing Key. and upload the encrypted key bundle to complete the import.

    The new key is listed in the Credential Management page.

To download the public key, locate the key you created and click Download Public Key.
