Manual Journal Entries UI

Configure segments on a Manual Journal Entry

Learn how to configure segments on a Manual Journal Entry.

GL segments must be configured in Finance Settings > Configure Segments before they can be applied to manual journal entries. Segment validation rules are enforced based on your configured segment mappings.

  1. Navigate to Finance > Manual Journal Entries.
  2. Open an MJE in Draft status.
  3. In the journal entry lines section, locate the segment fields.
  4. Select or enter the appropriate GL segment values for each line.
  5. Save the MJE.
