Custom Widgets
Custom Widgets let you add content that is specific to your business, to the Global Homepage. You can create a widget for personal use or publish a widget for other users in your tenant, depending on your permissions.
Widget types
| Widget type | Use it to |

| Custom HTML | Build a widget with custom HTML and CSS. Use it for announcements, runbooks, links, process guidance, and other tailored content. |
| Embedded Dashboard | Display approved external dashboards or applications in a widget. |
Custom Widgets support previewing before you save or publish a widget. Administrators can publish widgets for the tenant. Users can save widgets only for personal use.
Note: Custom widgets are available only on the Billing homepage.
Widget sizes
A widget can support multiple sizes. When you add the widget to your homepage, select one of the sizes defined for that widget. The available sizes depend on the widget and the current experience.
Widget visibility and permissions
- Personal widgets are available only to the user who saved them.
- Published widgets are shared with users in the current tenant according to their permissions.
- Embedded content remains subject to the permissions and availability of the external application.
