Prepaid Commitment
Prepaid Commitment allows you to understand how a Prepaid Commitment lets you collect payment in advance and automatically apply the balance to eligible charges over time.
A Prepaid Commitment allows you to collect payment in advance (or in installments) from the commitment and automatically apply that balance to eligible charges over time based on the flexible commitment contribution rules.
This feature is in the Early Availability phase. We are actively soliciting feedback from a small set of early adopters before releasing it as generally available. If you want to join this early availability program, submit a request at Zuora Global Support
With this model:

You can pay the committed amount in advance, which is held as a balance on your account.

As your subscription begins, eligible charges including recurring, one-time, and usage charges are automatically drawn down from that balance over time.

At the end of the commitment period, any unused balance expires and is no longer available for future charges.

If needed, you can also accelerate any unbilled installments to bill the remaining commitment amount ahead of the schedule.
