When you test the Belgium integration, verify both the Avalara-side configuration and the Zuora-side source configuration. Belgium is a PEPPOL country, so end-to-end testing should validate successful submission through Avalara and through the PEPPOL network, not only template generation.

Before running tests, confirm the following:

• Avalara ELR is activated for Belgium and configured for the PEPPOL mandate.

• The Belgium company profile in Avalara contains the identifiers and routing values required for PEPPOL processing.

• Zuora business regions, e-invoicing profiles, contacts, and country-specific metadata are configured consistently for Belgium.

• The billing documents used for testing are posted and use the Belgium configuration path.

Your Belgium test plan should verify that:

• Zuora generates Belgium-compliant PEPPOL UBL payloads.

• Avalara accepts, validates, and processes the documents correctly.

• Download works for the supported Belgium formats: XML, PDF, and UBL_XML.

• Resync and regenerate operations work correctly for Belgium documents that fail validation or remain in intermediate states.
