E-Reporting
E-Reporting enables Zuora Billing to submit transaction data to tax authorities or compliance providers in real time or on demand, supporting country-specific mandates and broader e-reporting requirements.
E-Reporting enables Zuora Billing to submit transaction data such as invoices, credit memos, debit memos, payments, and refunds to tax authorities or compliance service providers in real time or on demand.
How E-Reporting works
E-Reporting uses three core components:
- A Business Region defines the seller identity and reporting configuration for a country or region, including which document types are submitted, which events trigger submission, and how data is formatted.
- A Template defines the payload structure that Zuora uses when rendering submission data for a source object type and business category.
- An E-Compliance Request is created each time Zuora submits a document, and it tracks status, errors, and links to the source transaction.
