Validity period length

Use the existing Validity Period field and, where applicable, the specific validity period length fields to define the duration of the fund.

For example, you can configure a monthly, quarterly, annual, subscription-term, or custom-length validity period.

Validity period alignment

Use Validity Period Alignment to control where the fund starts.

In the product catalog, you can align the fund to:

• Charge Start
• Term Start
• Term End

At ordering time, you can also choose Specific Date and provide an explicit anchor date.

Validity period proration

If a unit-based prepayment charge is added in the middle of a validity period and does not align exactly with the validity period boundaries, use Validity Period Proration to determine how Zuora grants prepaid units:

• Prorate Units scales the funded units based on the overlap ratio.
• No Prorate grants the full units even when the fund is partial.
