Drawdown behavior enhancements

The enhanced Unit-Based Prepaid with Drawdown model lets you control how eligible funds are selected during drawdown.

Priority

Use Priority as one factor in determining the order in which Zuora consumes eligible funds. Zuora first groups eligible funds by rollover application behavior: Apply First rollover funds, normal funds, and Apply Last rollover funds. Within each group, lower Priority values are consumed first. If multiple eligible funds still have the same Priority, Zuora applies the remaining fund drawdown rules.

Scope

Use Scope to control which usage charges can draw down the fund:

  • Subscription means means only eligible usage charges with the same subscription owner and the same prepayment UOM can draw down the fund.
  • Account means means only eligible usage charges under the same account and with the same prepayment UOM can draw down the fund.

Account hierarchy support

If you want child accounts to draw from a parent account’s centralized fund pool, set Scope to Account and enable Allow Child Accounts to Draw From This Fund. This option applies only to eligible account-level funds.
