Basic scopes of contribution

This topic describes three basic scopes of contribution between calculated charges and eligible charges across subscriptions and accounts.

The examples below illustrate three basic scopes of contribution, you can customize the most relevant one to meet your requirements:

  • The calculated charge and eligible charges are under the same subscription.

    Note:

After subscription A is created, if you add a new rate plan RP1 to Subscription A and RP1 has some charges that meet the filter condition, those charges will also contribute to the calculated charge in the initial order.

    Calculated Charge Scope1
  • The calculated charge and eligible charges are under different subscriptions, but the same subscription owner account.

    Note:

After subscriptions A and B are created, if you add a new rate plan RP1 to Subscription B and RP1 has some charges that meet the filter condition, those charges will also contribute to the calculated charge.

    Calculated Charge Scope2
  • The calculated charge and eligible charges are under different subscription owner accounts, but the same invoice owner account.

    Note:

After subscriptions A and B are created, if you add a new rate plan RP1 to Subscription B and RP1 has some charges that meet the filter condition, those charges will also contribute to the calculated charge.
