Learn how to use the Zuora UI to create an order, add a subscription with a calculated charge rate plan, optionally override charge settings, and activate the subscription.

1. Navigate to Customers > Subscriptions. The Subscriptions page opens.
2. Click Create Order. The Create New Order page opens.
3. In the Account field, enter the name of the account that owns the order. By default, the account that owns the order will also own the subscription.
   Note:

   You can enter the account by clicking either Account Name or Account Number.

   • If you click Account Name, type part of the account name in the Account field and the filtered accounts can be dynamically listed for your selection.

   • If you click Account Number, type the complete account number.

4. Click Create Subscription. The Create Subscription page opens. For adding the fields to the Subscription see Create a subscription using the Zuora UI.

   

5. Click Continue. In the Products and Charges section, select the product with the rate plan which was added initially.

   

6. Click Add Product.
7. (Optional) Click the charge in the product rate plan to override it if required.
   1. In the Charge Pricing section under the Rate Plan Charge Details, update the Minimum Charge, Maximum Charge, and Percentage in the corresponding fields.
   2. In the Eligible Account and Charge section, you can update the required fields. See Define the scope of eligible charges for information on charge filter and and account filter.

      

8. Click Done.
9. Click Review Order to review the order.

   

10. Click Activate.
