Add Revenue Recognition Codes

Learn how to add and manage revenue recognition codes for exporting revenue information from Zuora to your accounting system.

A revenue recognition code is used for the export of revenue information from Zuora into your accounting system. You can enable and manage the revenue recognition codes used in your accounting system on this page.

To add a revenue recognition code:

  1. Click your username at the top right and navigate to Billing > Manage Revenue Recognition Codes.
  2. Select Enable revenue recognition fields.
  3. Click add new revenue recognition code.
  4. Select Active.
  5. Enter the Revenue Recognition Code Name.
  6. Click save.
    Note: Once you apply a revenue recognition code to a product rate plan charge , you can no longer edit or remove the revenue recognition code.
