Features and Entitlements lets you define, package, grant, and manage customer access to product capabilities throughout the subscription lifecycle.

A capability can represent application access, API quotas, storage, seats, licenses, AI tokens, or other services that you offer to your customers.

You can associate capabilities with products and rate plans. As subscriptions change, Zuora automatically creates, updates, or revokes customer entitlements.

A feature represents a capability or benefit, such as storage, API access, analytics, or a device.

An entitlement represents the access granted for a feature, including its quantity, unit of measure, effective period, usage balance, and lifecycle status.

For usage-based capabilities, Features and Entitlements also tracks quotas, balances, and consumption.
