Learn how to associate a metered entitlement with a product charge so Zuora can track entitlement consumption for billing and apply billing actions when limits or usage thresholds are reached.

1. Navigate to Products > Catalog.
2. Open the required product rate plan.
3. Open the Charges tab.
4. Edit an existing charge or create a new charge.
5. Select the metered entitlement to associate with the charge.
6. Save the charge.

   Associating a metered entitlement with a charge creates a billable entitlement. This links entitlement consumption with the corresponding product charge, enabling Zuora to track usage for billing purposes and apply billing-related actions when entitlement limits or usage thresholds are reached.
