Considerations for migrating to Hyperforce and using Zuora CPQ

Use workarounds before upgrade

Apply a workaround to generate Quote PDF documents successfully before upgrading to Zuora CPQ version 10.2.

If you are facing challenges in upgrading directly to version 10.2 from a lower version (e.g., 9.XX), a workaround can be applied to alleviate the issue temporarily.

  1. Navigate to the Quote Detail page in Zuora CPQ.
  2. Click the Generate PDF button to initiate the document generation process.
  3. In case the process encounters the Unknown internal error error, modify the instance name in the URL. Replace the existing instance name (for example, "usa32") with the specific domain name of your organization.

    By following this workaround, you can generate Quote PDF documents successfully until you upgrade to the minimum required Zuora CPQ version (10.2).
