Advanced CPQ functionalities

Edit a pending subscription

Learn how to edit pending subscriptions in CPQ X using Quote Studio.

Ensure that the following settings in the Zuora tenant navigate to Billing > Default Subscription and Order Settings section, are set to Yes. The default value is No).

  • Require Customer Acceptance of Orders ("Yes").

  • Require Service Activation of Orders ("Yes").

  1. Ensure that the Salesforce Administrator has provided the necessary permissions.
    1. In your Salesforce org, navigate to Quote Studio Settings > Feature Access Config.
    2. Select Edit Pending Subscriptions from the dropdown.
    3. Select the user's profile who needs access to create a pending subscription.
  2. Click the Quotes tab.
  3. Find the quote you want to edit and click the quote name to enter the Quote Detail page.
  4. Click the Edit Quote (New) button. The Quote Studio page is then displayed.
  5. Configure quote information and submit the configuration upon completion. See Configure quote information on Quote Studio page for instructions.
