Learn how to define the conditions that determine whether approval processing applies to a quote.

1. Click the Approval Flows tab and click New Flow.
2. Enter a name and description for the flow.
3. Select the applicable quote type for the approval flow.
4. Configure the Entry Gate Condition.

   For example, configure the condition: Account Name equals "XYZ".

5. (Optional) Select Add Group to group multiple entry gate conditions.
6. Select Active to activate the approval flow.

   If the flow provides an Auto-approve when no match found option, select it when quotes with no matching approval condition should bypass approval.

7. Save the approval flow.

   The entry gate is evaluated first. If the quote meets the entry gate conditions, the system evaluates the approval rules attached to the flow. The approval flow does not initiate an approval chain by itself.
