A JavaScript-based rules engine is available in beta to improve rule execution during the quoting process.

When this feature is turned on:

• All product-related rules, including the Custom Action Plugin, will run in Apex.

• All validation rules will execute on the client side.

Skip Entity Formula Recalculation

The Skip Entity Formula Recalculation text field setting determines whether Formula fields should be recalculated. By default, this setting is blank. When left blank, formula fields from the Account and Opportunity objects are recalculated during package installation, quote creation, rule execution, preview processes, and similar operations. To prevent recalculation for specific objects, contact Zuora Support to update this setting.

Quote Studio Metrics Option

The Quote Studio Metrics Option setting is used to suppress some or all of the metric values displayed in the Quote Studio UI on Amend and Renew quotes, particularly those not included in configurable field sets.

You can request the Zuora Support team to suppress or hide the following values:

• SSQ Suppress Charge Subtotal Delta Values

• Hide charge subtotal and delta values on the Charge and Subscription panel

• SSQ Suppress Delta Values

• Hide delta values on the Charge and Subscription Panel

• SSQ Suppress Charge Subtotal Values

• Hide Charge Subtotal values

• MSQ Suppress Charge Subtotal Delta Values
