Use Front-Load Stub Period in ramp quote
Learn how to place the shorter stub period at the beginning of a ramp schedule by enabling the Front-Load Stub Period option in Quote Studio.
Your administrator has enabled the Front-Load Stub Period feature in Feature Access Config.
The quote term uses a non-standard term that creates a stub period.
The Front-Load Stub Period option places the shorter stub period at the beginning of a ramp schedule when the quote uses a non-standard term. This option is available only for the following ramp frequencies:
- Quarterly
- Semi-annual
- Annual
- In Quote Studio, open an existing eligible ramp quote or create a ramp quote.
- In the Term field, enter a non-standard term that creates a stub period.
- From the Ramp Frequency list, select a supported ramp frequency.
- In the ramp section, select the Front-Load Stub Period toggle.
- Review the generated intervals.
- Save the quote.
Quote Studio places the shorter stub period at the beginning of the ramp schedule. The remaining intervals follow the selected ramp frequency.
