Manage subscriptions

Send a quote to Zuora Billing from Quote Studio

Learn how to send a finalized quote from Salesforce Quote Studio to Zuora Billing to create or update a subscription.

After a quote becomes a sale, Salesforce sends it to Zuora Billing, where the quote forms the basis of a new subscription, amendment, renewal, or cancellation. After Salesforce successfully sends the quote to Zuora, you can no longer edit the quote. However, you can manage the subscription in Zuora like other subscriptions created within Zuora.

Note: Starting with version 10.60, you can use the Send to Zuora (New) quick action for Single Subscription Quoting (SSQ). This action sends the quote directly to Zuora without opening the Order Preview page. Zuora recommends this action for larger quotes.
  1. On the Quote Details page, click one of the following actions:
    1. Send to Zuora
    2. Send to Zuora (New)
  2. Depending on the action selected, one of the following occurs:
    1. Send to Zuora: The Order Preview page displays. Review the information, and then click Submit to send the quote to Zuora.
    2. Send to Zuora (New): A confirmation dialog displays. If validation issues are found, resolve them and repeat the action. When no issues remain, click Send to Zuora.

    After Salesforce successfully sends the quote to Zuora, a confirmation message indicates that Zuora created the subscription.
