Combination of guided selling with Quote Studio

Add Quote Studio to quoting flows through Quote Wizard

  • Ensure that the Guided Product Selector setting is enabled.
  • Products are synced to Salesforce through Zuora 360. ​​See Synchronize the product catalog from Zuora for more information.

You can configure Quote Wizard based on the intended use case. The following list provides the supported use cases to use Quote Studio with guided selling flows:

  • Use Quote Studio to configure quote details, then use the existing Edit Products and Charges page to configure products and charges.
  • Use the existing quote creation pages to configure quote details, then use Quote Studio to configure products and charges.

The following table includes the Quote Wizard quoting flow and detailed configuration steps for each use case:

  1. Navigate to Zuora Config > Quote Wizard Settings.
  2. Based on the use case perform the following steps.

    Use Quote Studio to configure quote details, then use the guided selling page to configure pricing.

    1. Use Quote Studio to create a quote (zqu__QuoteStudio)
    2. Edit Products and Charges (zqu__EditQuoteProducts)
    1. Navigate to Zuora Config > Quote Wizard Settings.
    2. Select a subscription type from the Subscription Type dropdown list. For example, New Subscription.
    3. Click Edit.
    4. In the Quote Wizard Steps table, update Step #1 by selecting zqu__QuoteStudio for the Visual Force Page column and updating the description for the Progress Bar Text column.
    5. Click Remove for Step #2 to remove this step.
    6. Click Save to save the configuration.

    Use the Zuora Quotes guided selling pages to configure quote details, then use Quote Studio to configure pricing.

    1. Select Billing Account and Quote Type (zqu__quoteEnhancement)
    2. Provide Quote, Account, and Subscription Term Details (zqu__CreateQuote)
    3. Use Quote Studio to configure pricing (zqu__QuoteStudio)
    1. Navigate to Zuora Config > Quote Wizard Settings.
    2. Select a subscription type from the Subscription Type dropdown list. For example, New Subscription.
    3. Click Edit.
    4. For Step #3 in the table, select zqu__QuoteStudio from the dropdown list in the Visual Force Page column, and optionally update the Progress Bar Text column.
    5. Click Save.
