Learn how to add billing trigger date fields to amendment and renewal quote layouts to manage subscription status and enhance Quote Metrics calculations.

1. Navigate to Setup > Create > Objects.
2. In the Custom Objects list, click Quote.
3. In the Field Sets (BETA) section, click Edit next to one of the Subscription Terms listed in the table above.
4. Drag and drop the Service Activation Date and Customer Acceptance Date fields.
5. Click Save.

   When creating or editing an amendment or a renewal quote depending on the field set you edited, the Service Activation Date and Customer Acceptance Date fields will now be rendered in the Subscription Terms section of the page.

6. Edit the following field sets and add the date fields to the field set to add the Service Activation Date and Customer Acceptance Date fields to the quoting flow.
