In an amendment, the initial term is increased from 36 months to 48 months, resulting in the addition of Interval 4. Additionally, a recurring charge is updated multiple times within Interval 2. The first update is on Feb 1, 2026, and the quantity is updated to two.

• The first segment in Interval 2 spans from Jan 1, 2026, to Jan 31, 2026. It has a charge subtotal representing the original $10 for that month and no delta.
• The second segment in Interval 2 spans from Feb 1, 2026, to Feb 28, 2026. It has a subtotal of $20. The delta is captured from the originally contracted $10 at quantity 1, making the delta $20 - $10 = $10.
• The third segment in Interval 2 has a quantity updated to 3 in Mar 2026. The subtotal is calculated until the end of the interval, 31 Dec 2026, which is 10 months * $10 price * 3 quantity = $300. The delta is from the originally contracted one quantity * $10 * 10 months = $100, and hence the delta difference for this segment is $300 - $100 = $200.
• Interval 3 has no additional update, but the updates from Interval 2 extend into this period, so the updated Recurring charge has a new subtotal of 12 months * 3 quantity * $10 = $360. The delta is captured between the new $360 subtotal and the original 12 months * 1 quantity * $10 = $120, making it $360 - $120 = $240.
• Interval 4 has a positive delta associated with each charge extended for the year, since the original contract had no segments in this time frame. The charges have the same subtotal and delta values, the updated recurring one being $360.
