This article explains how the Charge Segment metrics are mapped to the Charge Subtotal columns within the charge table in an Amendment Quote when the term is increased, multiple updates are made, and future-dated removal.

The following image shows an amendment quote with the term increase, multiple updates made, and a future-date remove before the new extended terms start, on Jul 1, 2025:

The non-ramp Quote originally had a 12-month initial term. In this amendment quote, the initial term is extended to 24 months.

Note the following information from the above image:

• The third segment covers four months, from Mar 1, 2025, to Jun 30, 2025. At the updated price of $30, this segment's subtotal is four months * $30 = $120. The delta represents the difference from the original $10 to $30, so $20 * four months = $80 delta for the segment.
• The removal occurs to an original charge, so a removal segment is represented from Jul 1, 2025, to Dec 31, 2025, which is 6 months * $10 original contracted price = -$60 delta for the removal segment and a subtotal of $0 since it's removed.

No segment is represented for this charge in the new terms extension period.
