This article explains how the Charge Segment metrics are mapped to the Charge Subtotal columns within the charge table in a renewal Quote when the term is decreased and no other changes are made.

The ramp Quote originally had a renewal term of 12 months, but in the Renewal quote the renewal term is reduced to 9 months. Despite the reduction, the renewal is technically a new contract, and the delta metrics are positive. The recurring charges have a subtotal of 9 months * $10 price = $90, and the delta is also $90.The following is the Period Metrics JSON response that may be compared with the Quote Studio UI.
